Gadgets for Music
Music seems to be an important part of humanity. It is something we can’t resist when we hear its melody, and we jive to its beat by unconsciously stumping our feet. We owe the enjoyment we experience when we hear music from the inventors of devices that can emit the music we love o hear. There are many devices invented by man that allows us to listen to our favorite artists and their songs. These devices have been present for quite a long time already and there are new ones available in the market which we can use in listening to music. The first audio device invented was an invention of Alexander Graham Bell called a phonograph. It is an instrument that produces sounds because of certain needle vibrations in a disc. It was then a recording device that records certain sounds. It was then modified by experts and then the birth of the tape recorder took place in history. The radio is another device that is used to broadcast music for the people. The main use of the radio during the early 19th century is communication, but nowadays it’s one of the devices we use to listen to music. For us to use audio players, we need a storage medium that can store audio or music. The invention of the tape recorder paved way to another storage medium of recorded sounds like a cassette tape and the compact disc.
During the popularity of the cassette tape, it was widely used for recording all kinds of audio that is used by broadcasting radio stations. It was then used to record music and radios were modified to have a feature that of a recorder to aloe the user to play recorded music or audio using the radio. There were personal stereos available in the market that is handy in comparison to a radio which is difficult to carry anywhere. The personal stereo allowed the user to listen to favorite music, wherever he may be and rewind it anytime. It also plays AM and FM radio making it more popular.
The cassette tape experienced certain problems with the personal stereo its film is sometimes stuck in the device, and usually it splits because the film is fragile. Then, the compact disc was invented, which was preferred by most users. It became more popular and it grabbed the glory of the cassette tape which was then rarely used. This means that there should be some modifications to be done and be compatible with the compact disc and CD players were sold in the market. It was also discovered that the compact disc provided a better quality audio, and it was widely used by people. CD players are now seen on radios and there are also portable CD players available. Today, there are smaller compact discs that are used on certain devices.
Because of technology many other audio players were made and this time it became digital just like the popular mp3 player. This device does not require any separate storing device since it was created to have a built in storage device within it. It can store more audio and music depending on its memory capacity. It is more advanced since digital audio players allow the user to organize the files stored in the mp3. It is also handy that is why others prefer it. The user can use a headset to listen to favorite music while not disturbing others while doing other things. Today, they come in different sizes and designs. There are also digital audio players that can play videos, which greatly attracted the consumers. Upgrades are still rapid and each year, it becomes more sophisticated and entertaining. Other audio players include cell phones. Cell phones are now created in such a way that it can store music and playback. Cell phones are not just used for communication but an audio player as well. Just like the mp3 it can store files depending on its capacity.
The evolution of the audio player starting from a simple phonograph to a more sophisticated digital audio player is really impressive, and we can say that humans really have brilliant minds. Thanks to these people because we get to enjoy music as much as we can.
